Hello,

Let's see! I guess I should let you know a little about me. I am Cuban, I was born in Cuba and at age 3 left the country with my parents to flee the Castro regime. We ended up in Michigan. My family lived there for about 6 years and then we moved to sunny south Florida.

I am a teacher, going on my 21st year of teaching. I have been married for 17 years to my wonderful husband Carlos. We have a 10 year old daughter, Natalie who is the main reason why I scrap. I want to preserve the memories for her. I have been scrapbooking since I can remember...before anyone ever heard of scrapbooking. When I was in high school I would document events in an album and then decorate the page with whatever I could find. I sometimes used wrapping paper, I would cut out the images and use them as embellishments. If only I would of thought of marketing the idea and taking it to another level. Who knows where I'd be today! Lol! Oh well! This is my first try at this blog thing let's see how I do!
