Me as a paperdoll!

I am an elementary reading resource teacher and at the beginning of this school year the staff was asked to make a paper doll resembling ourselves and to write a few words for a bulletin board that read "Meet Our Staff" for open house. This is what I came up with for my paper doll. Of course I used the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge. Everything was cut at 8 inches relative size. Her shirt, headband, purse and all patterns are from the Imagine Blossom cartridge. For the pants and top of shoes I used a piece of paper that resembles jean fabric. The book is also cut from the everyday paper doll cartridge. The word read are small stickers, the worm is a small button, and I chalked the edges of the book, gave her face a little color and added googly eyes. Her accessories are old embellishments I had and the school is cool charm I got at Michaels years ago as well. I had a lot of fun with this project! I am much cuter as a paper doll! Lol!

Sophia's 1st Birthday Card

My friend's daughter turned one and she had a garden themed birthday party. So this is the card I came up with. This is an A2 size card by paper loft. The card already came with the hole and the white scalloped flower cardstock overlay, I just cuttle bugged it. The shaker box is from Stampin' Up and the butterflies I used as the shaker thingy are dew drops by The Robins Nest that I've had forever. The smaller flowers are cut from Create a Critter and all the faces are stamped using Peachy Keen Stamps. I used gingham ribbon for the stems.

Birthday card for my nephew Josh

This is a shaker card I made along with my friend Marta. I had purchased the little round shaker cups from Stampin' Up and couldn't wait to use them. I also wanted to use it with the gumball image from one of the cricut cartridges. There is one in Sweet Treats and All wrapped up. I can't remember which one this is from. After making it we had to come up with what we would put in it...real gumballs are to large. My friend Marta came up with the letter beads idea. I had some of the same letter beads in my stash so I followed her lead. Here is the final project!!!

Card #8 Project Sunshine and Smiles @ Cricut Craft Room

For this card I used Life's a Beach cricut cartridge and my Imagine. Stamps are from my stash.

Card #7 Project Sunshine and Smiles @ Cricut Craft Room

Used Create a Critter for the cow on this card. It's one of my all time favorite cartridges. The sun is from the Imagine More cartridge and the grass I cut freehand.

Every image on this card is from the Imagine Kate's Kitchen cartridge. Stamps were lent to me by my friend Marta and are the perfect sentiments for this card.

I made this card with an old stamp set from Stampin' Up.

Card #4 for Project Sunshine and Smiles @ Cricut Craft Room

Card #3 for Project Sunshine and Smiles @ Cricut Craft Room.

I saw this card on one of the cricut blogs and fell in love with it! So I reproduced it on my gypsy. The popsicle images are from the freshly picked cricut cartridge. The faces are peachy keen stamps. Paper and ribbon are from my stash. The popsicle stickers were given to me by my friend Marta and matched perfectly!
